Can you believe it's been a year?

Yeah I know I haven't been around much.    My new job leaves me little to no free time.   I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not.

Anyway.   I woke up this morning, thinking of Meredith, and celebrating her first anniversary in Heaven.   How quickly a year passes!

We still miss Muff...but just as much as we miss her, we celebrate her life, and we are reminded every day of her and the lessons she taught us.    To be strong. To be courageous. To share our love with others. Even strangers. To trust God, and lean on Him for every need. To be thankful.   And to smile and find JOY in every circumstance!

Thank you, Muff.   For making a difference in my and so many peoples lives!!!!!

Holy Cow

I have a wonderful friend, Michelle, who is just as passionate as I am about fighting cancer. I gave her an FYI about an event we're running...and she decided to feature it (and me!) on her amazing blog!! Visit her - shes an amazing (and hilarious) writer!!

FYI.........yes, I was laid off in November. It was shocking and a hard time (for me, and my boss, who cried when he gave me the news). BUT! Only positive came out of it.

I am now working my dream job - at the American Cancer Society. It is a lot of work, a pay cut, and exhausting in every way possible, but I love it!!!!

I have been reading my Subscription Digest and keeping up with everyone...I just have not had a chance to update my own, or to leave many comments! I have not forgotten about all of you!!!!!

Secret Santa, Baby!

Because of some delivery drama, we weren't able to open our Secret Santa gifts on Christmas Eve. That was okay with us, though....who doesn't love opening gifts, even when Christmas is over!!!

(Please forgive the appearance. Casey and I drove 10.5 hours from Michigan today. I didn't bother with hair or makeup!!!)
